  To ensure there is a balance between workers and the work to be accomplished the Food Bank volunteer coordinator has requested volunteers for any event be capped at 20.

  The Society of Vintage Characters provides most of our events at no cost to our membership.

  In order to do this our organization works an AGLC licensed casino every other year.

  We are excited to announce our 2026 casino has  been scheduled.

  Location:

  Century Casino Edmonton

  13103 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5A 1C3

  Two Dates:

  Sunday July 12 and Monday July 13, 2026

  In order to run the AGLC casino we will be looking for 34 volunteers (17 per day) from our membership to fill the various positions.

  Working a casino can be both fun and fulfilling and provides us with the monies needed to continue our programming. 

  Our Casino Director, Gerry Hofs, can provide you with more information if you have never worked a casino and will also be handling member registration. Gerry Hofs 780-474-5150 gerryhofs@yahoo.com

  There is a Casino Volunteer Worker Application form you will need to complete.

  You can fill out the forms and email them to Gerry or give them to her at a future event.
